Glastonbury Festival wins ‘Line-Up of the Year’ award for 2019

The European Festival Awards has awarded Glastonbury ‘Line-Up of the Year’

Glastonbury Festival has been awarded ‘ Best Line-Up of the Year ‘ for 2019 by the European Festival Awards .

Celebrating the end of the festival season – the 11th annual European Festival Awards took place earlier this evening (January 15), at De Oosterpoort in Groningen.

Since its inception in 2009, the EFA has been dedicated to recognising and celebrating the collective accomplishments of the continent’s most beloved industry.

Across its 15 categories, the Awards acknowledges the achievements of organisers and suppliers in the field and honours the festivals and individuals that push the boundaries in health and safety, social awareness, forward-thinking and sustainability respectively.

In addition to Glastonbury, some of the other winners included none other than Billie Eilish who picked up the award for ‘Best Newcomer Act’ – This following her outstanding performance at Glastonbury last June where she completely demolished the Other Stage.
